The University of Mary Washington welcomes applications for transfer from other colleges and universities. UMW is a residential community and approximately 65 percent of students live on campus. Housing is available for transfer students.
The University is committed to a seamless transfer of students from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) through the Guaranteed Admissions Agreement (GAA) for those who complete a transfer-compatible associate’s degree.
